Kempsey Eisteddfod Society Inc
Celebrating 121 years of bringing our community together through performing arts!
Please support us to continue this long tradition of a high quality, accessible and inclusive eisteddfod.
-
We are a team of passionate volunteers who strive to provide inclusive, authentic and, memorable experiences through our local eisteddfod in supporting our talented performers grow.
-
Our volunteers have a strong connection to our beautiful Macleay Valley NSW and want to provide professional experiences for local performers to thrive.
Through offering a large variety of performance opportunities across vocal, instrumental, speech, drama, debating and dance we endeavour to create an ongoing love of the performing arts and pathways to future creative prospects.
-
We work closely with our Macleay Valley students, families, community groups and businesses as a non-for-profit organisation. Through sponsorship opportunities and collaboration we have the capacity to deliever our local Eisteddfod, master classes, workshops, concerts and more.
-
We support performing arts ventures in and around the Macleay Valley and most importantly our students. We are always excited to welcome travelling performers and their families to share our beautiful region and Eisteddfod with.
“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
- Maya Angelou
We acknowledge the Elders and Traditional Custodians, both past and present, of the land on which we meet and perform - the Dunghutti People. The original storytellers, musicians, dancers and artists of our valley.
